Talents Cultivation for Developing Countries

CoEBio is an open and integrative platform aiming to strengthen the biotechnology innovation capability of developing countries. It receives and educates students and visiting scholars from developing countries under CAS President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI).

Coordinating biotechnology-related scientific R&D projects for developing countries

CoEBio assists researchers from developing countries to identify the needs for joint scientific effort in biotechnology, launch new joint R&D project, and therefore promote multi-lateral cooperation in science, technology and innovation, not only just in the South, but with developed countries, too.

Organizing Training Courses and Workshops for Developing Countries

CoEBio organizes workshops and training courses related to biotechnology in developing countries to enhance the biotechnology communication among developing countries, newly emerging countries and developed countries and accelerate the spread of new scientific discoveries and technology breakthroughs.

CoEBio establishes Biotechnology Information System through setting up this website to publish the latest news on biotechnology development, latest events, and biotech recruitment information every day. Weekly e-mail newsletters are also released automatically and timely.
